Annotation: News headlines are the "eyes" of news reports. As a symbolic reconstruction of objective facts, the application of tags in news headlines can not only simplify the headlines, meet the readers’ pocket-time reading needs, but also vent the readers’ social emotions. However, the labelling of news headlines can also bring issues such as social group stigmatization, news’ loss of public credibility and the expansion of social prejudice. This paper firstly divides the tags that appear in the headlines of Chinese online news headlines into three categories, namely objective tags, subjective tags and effect-oriented tags, and then analyzes the causes of these tags and their negative effects, and finally proposes actionable measures to de-label online news headlines.
