Annotation: The works of the great figure of Uzbek literature, the famous writer Abdulla Qadiri, have been translated into dozens of languages of the world, and the work in this regard continues. In recent years, the author's novels have been translated into Chinese and published. It should be noted that almost all translations of literary novels into foreign languages are not without defects, and the main reason for this is the "unknown" words found in literary works, that is, words that cannot be found in dictionaries. This article talks about the words in Qadiri's works that are not found in modern explanatory dictionaries of the Uzbek language and the problems that arise in the process of translating them.
