Annotation: This article analyzes the factors that led to the creation of “Al-Fatawa al-Alamgiriya”, focusing on its socio-political, legal, and religious foundations. Special attention is given to the governance during the reign of Aurangzeb Alamgir, the implementation of Islamic law, and the need for systematization of fiqh sources. The study also highlights the significance of the work within the Hanafi school and its legal importance.
