Annotation: The article studies modal constructions of the type خوانده میتوانم хânda mêtawânam, their morphological and structural characteristics, the semantics of the modal verb توانستن tawânestan and its status in constructions of this type. By studying examples, the designation of Dari modal constructions in the Uzbek language is substantiated.
