Annotation: This article examines the linguocultural aspects of diplomacy and statecraft in ancient China. It focuses primarily on how language and terminology shape political consciousness and how the diplomatic maneuvers of the Warring States period (Zhanguo) reflected the specific linguistic worldview of ancient Chinese society. The study explores how a unique linguistic worldview emerged through the transformation of sociopolitical terminology and the use of "military might" metaphors—a worldview in which the categories of "war," "reward," and "ritual" became instruments of diplomatic discourse. The analysis is based on the *Zhanguo Ce* (Strategies of the Warring States) and the treatises of ancient thinkers.
