Annotation: This article discusses the problems associated with the use of international and national marketing in ensuring the competitiveness of foreign economic activity. Methods for assessing the competitiveness of enterprises in foreign economic activity are analyzed. The influence of factors of diversification, modernization and innovation that affect competitiveness is analyzed, their importance in increasing the country's export potential is identified and explained.
