Annotation: This article analyzes the transition from a traditional political model based on Confucian ethical norms (li) and tribal law to a model of a rationalized state. It focuses on the philosophical concept of "law" (fa) as a universal instrument of social regulation and the depersonalization of power. The paper argues that Shang Yang's reforms represented more than mere administrative changes, but rather the systemic implementation of political realism. Particular attention is given to the philosophical anthropology of Legalism and the principle of strict state pragmatism, which predetermined the successful unification of China under the auspices of the Qin Empire.
