Annotation: The topic of this research work is « Cognitive analysis of five senses used in onomatopoeia and mimetic words in children's songs and fairy tales», which examines the degree of use and the number of used onomatopoeic words in Japanese children's songs and fairy tales. In my research so far, I will investigate which of the five senses the 256 onomatopoeias and mimetic words taken up in nursery rhymes and fairy tales apply to. The five senses are sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. In other words, it is divided into 5 types. To divide them into five types, we use Japanese Onomatopoeia/Mimetic Words 4500 Japanese Onomatopoeia Dictionary edited by Masahiro Ono, find the meaning of each of the 256 words, and analyze them with the five senses.
