Annotation: This article explores the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and geoethics, a growing interdisciplinary field that reflects on moral principles of human interaction with the Earth amid technological transformations. The concept of geoethics is examined alongside the risks and opportunities posed by AI in geosciences, including climate modeling, risk management, and sustainable development. Special attention is given to the ethical oversight of AI systems operating in natural environments. The analysis highlights the importance of integrating geoethical principles into the development and deployment of AI to foster responsible, humane, and ecologically conscious technological practices.
