Annotation: Centuries of invasion, migration, and cultural integration have created a great opportunity for South Asian translators, with its remarkable linguistic diversity and state of linguistic contact. It is necessary to preserve the language in the present in order to exercise one's skill and challenge established theoretical linguistic claims. This article is devoted to the development of translation studies in India. It talks about how it developed and its unique features.
