Author: Avlayev, O.U.; Xaqberdiyeva, U.K.

Annotation: This article analyzes the patterns of individual-typological characteristics in adolescents with disabilities from a gender perspective. Through the study of formal-dynamic features, differences in adaptability, emotionality, social activity, and self-regulation indicators were identified between male and female adolescents. The results demonstrate that the gender factor serves as a significant determinant in the psychological development of adolescents with disabilities and is linked to differences in social experience, communicative needs, and emotional reactions. The conclusions presented in the article substantiate the necessity of applying a gender-appropriate differential approach in educational and correctional processes.

Keywords: adolescents with disabilities; individual-typological characteristics; gender differences; formal-dynamic characteristics; emotional reactions; social adaptation; differential approach.
