Annotation: This article analyzes the role of communication in ensuring the political unity of society and the legitimacy of power from a socio-philosophical perspective. Communication is interpreted as an integrative mechanism of the political system, revealing its functions in the formation of legitimacy, social consensus and political participation. The results of the study substantiate the importance of communicative processes in strengthening mutual trust between the state and society
