Annotation: This article explores the theoretical and practical aspects of the culture shock phenomenon that occurs among students in the process of teaching Korean as a foreign language. The purpose of the research is to develop effective methodical recommendations for overcoming cultural barriers and enhancing students' intercultural competence. The article analyzes the stages of culture shock, the social hierarchical structure of Korean society, and the role of linguaculturology in language teaching.
