Annotation: This article examines the concept of 'neologism', its emergence in speech, as well as the nature and factors of neologisms that determine their occurrence; it uses examples of neologisms in modern Chinese language, concluding with the current state of the vocabulary of the Chinese language, its trends and directions of development.
