Annotation: Language can vividly reflect the local social psychology, thinking habits and etiquette and morality. Idioms are fixed phrases with rich meanings and written language in Chinese vocabulary. Taking the twelve zodiac idioms as the research object, this paper analyzes their sources, characteristics and symbolic meanings by combining logical analysis with classic study, which is helpful for us to understand and understand the characteristics of Chinese national culture behind such idioms, and to carry out Chinese teaching more fully and completely.
