Annotation: The rapid development of science and technology has a direct impact on the field of linguistics, literary criticism and translation studies. In translation studies, along with the concept of machine translation, there were achievements and problems associated with this new direction. This situation creates certain problems, as well as facilitates the work of the person associated with the translation. The article discusses the benefits and harms of electronic dictionaries and applications for automated translation on the example of the Uzbek and Turkish languages.
