Author: Saydaliyeva, G.O.

Annotation: This article analyzes gender paradoxes observed in the tourism sector of Uzbekistan based on socio-economic and ethnopsychological approaches. The study substantiates that despite the high proportion of women in tourism education, their participation in the real sector and managerial positions remains relatively low. The research identifies traditional social attitudes, gender stereotypes, the “fear of success” syndrome, as well as psychological factors related to employment stability and safety that contribute to the formation of gender imbalance. In addition, the article proposes practical recommendations based on an ethnopsychological approach aimed at promoting gender equality in the tourism industry.
