Annotation: The article describes the importance of pedagogical assessment in the formation of the personality of preschool children. It is described as pedagogical is a specific stimulus that acts in the educational and educational activities of preschoolers, as it determines its success and has a complex character, including a system of various incentives. The styles of communication inherent in the teacher are analyzed as one of the main factors influencing the development of the personality of a preschooler. The most adequate forms of evaluative influences of the teacher, the close connection of pedagogical evaluation with the style of the teacher's work, as well as confirmation of its influence on the formation of the personality of a preschool child are considered.
