Annotation: This article analyzes the socio-philosophical views of the Indian thinker and Nobel Prize laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The study examines his ideas on humanism, freedom, education, religious and secular perspectives, nationalism, and intercultural dialogue. It also explores Tagore’s views on social development, the relationship between Eastern and Western civilizations, and his approach to spiritual perfection. The findings of the research indicate that Tagore considered spiritual freedom and enlightenment of the individual as the main factors of social progress. It is concluded that his philosophical ideas remain highly relevant in the context of contemporary globalization
