Annotation: The article discusses how rare manuscripts and lithographic books of Eastern thinkers, preserved in the fund of the house-museum and in the personal library of the People’s Poet of Uzbekistan and academician Gafur Ghulam, came to be included in the poet’s collection. It also presents a scholarly classification and description of rare sources, including works associated with Saadi Shirazi, Hafez Shirazi, Alisher Navoi, Mirza Abdulqadir Bedil, Imam Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Jarir, Fitrat, and others.
