Annotation: This scientific article analyzes the theoretical basis of the education system's digitalization and modern pedagogical approaches. The research is conducted based on the notions of information and communication technologies (ICT), student-centered studying, and digital competence. Relying on the perspectives of leading scholars, the importance of digitalization in improving educational efficiency is substantiated.
