Annotation: This scientific article is devoted to zoonym and zoocomponent expressions and their translation in Turkish. The units used to express positive and negative characteristics are analyzed. Zoonim explores the breadth of language possibilities in expressing the human image. In the Turkish language, attention is paid to the vocabulary of the language when reflecting the image of people and revealing their characters. Similarities and differences in zoophraseologisms and their translation are studied.
