Annotation: This article examines the main philosophical, ethical and aesthetic aspects associated with the formation of artificial intelligence (AI) as an independent science, a subject of scientific research and, in particular, practical activity. The historical stages of the development of AI, modern problems and prospects, as well as the problems that arise in attempts to create a "strong" AI with consciousness and the ability to self-study are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the problems of responsibility for AI actions and the philosophical aspects of the possible impact of AI on the future of humanity.
