Annotation: This article examines the "existential being" and its problems reflected in the rubaiyats and philosophical works of the great poet and thinker U. Khayyam. Also, the existential connection between being and man is analyzed through the views of Omar Khayyam. Khayyam's significance today as one of the first founders of existential thought is revealed.
