Annotation: The article describes the main activities of the Department of Assessment of foreign language proficiency, including Oriental languages, carried out in accordance with the requirements of internationally recognized standards of the National Test System. The main attention is paid to the comparative characteristics of the competencies of applicants in Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
