Annotation: The article is devoted to the problems of compiling an innovative universal self-study guide of the Chinese language for the general public. The authors have developed a special study guide, in which, for each of the most common Chinese characters in the amount of 2242, the method of individual presentation is implemented, which includes all possible forms of writing of the character, its reading, basic meanings, the most common and useful words and phrases with its participation, names and lexemes that introduce important elements of Chinese and world culture. Less commonly used characters in the amount of 1781 characters are only recommended. The total number of characters presented in this book is 4023 characters. The book makes it possible to deploy an active activity on the effective memorization of words and characters, and also allows you to start creative work on composing sentences and writing your own texts in Chinese using modern translation platforms on the Internet.
