Annotation: : In this scientific article, we will consider the specific aspects of Japanese onomatopoeic words and their translation. There are approximately 4,000 onomatopoeic words in the Japanese language, and it is the most widely used word combination. Unlike the Uzbek language, there are 5 types of imitation words in Japanese, and imitation of sound and imitation of movement are the most important types, and almost all such word groups are written in pairs and repetitions. This article explains the issue of onomatopoetic words in translation and their difference from the Uzbek language in the analytical conclusion.
