Annotation: Islamic philosophy in the modern era represents a dynamic and multifaceted intellectual landscape that seeks to reconcile traditional Islamic thought with contemporary issues and discourses. The article emphasizes the ongoing dialogues between Islamic philosophy and Western philosophical traditions, and discusses the influence of postcolonial theory, feminist critiques, and bioethical considerations on contemporary Islamic thought. A critical analysis of the contributions of scholars such as Sayyid Husayn Nasr, Fatima Mernisi, and Amina Wadud reveals the diversity of perspectives in contemporary Islamic philosophy. This article argues that Islamic philosophy continues to provide valuable insights into pressing global issues while preserving its rich intellectual heritage.
