Annotation: The article analyzes the literary processes that took place in Chinese literature in the Middle Ages and their changes. At the same time, it can be argued that the emergence of Buddhism in China, the harsh protests of Confucian officials and their hatred were also reflected in Chinese literary processes. It also highlights the question of the influence of Buddhism on the formation of Chinese literature. The main form of popular science literature during this period is history, and it can be concluded that this is the most valuable prose work in China in terms of content and essence.
