Annotation: This article deals with the analysis of academic discursive features of conditional sentences in English. It studies conditional sentences as a part of academic discourse which makes up a complex syntax of an academic discourse. In particular, conditional sentences are studied as a syntactic pattern which contributes to the complex structure of an academic discourse.
