Annotation: The article describes the political situation in the Middle East at the end of the 14th - beginning of the 15th centuries. The place and role of Amir Temur in the history of the region is analyzed. Victory in the Battle of Ankara and its historical significance. Amir Timur’s long-term campaigns in the regions of the Near and Middle East had important military and political significance in the history of the region. First of all, the carefully developed military strategic plan was fully implemented, and the article reflected the unification of the small scattered feudal lords in these areas into a strong centralized state.
