Annotation: The article provides information on the geological structure and oil and gas content of the Amudarya sub-province, mainly on the formation and composition of the bedrock and sedimentary rocks. There is also a brief description of the oil and gas complexes and the laws of their distribution, as well as the tectonic elements of the Amudarya syncline.
