Annotation: This article discusses diseases, the role of the psyche in their origin, and the influence of speech in the treatment of these diseases. The speech process with the patient, the style, content, tone of the speech, the power of the word, its appropriate use in the treatment of diseases, etc. will be covered in detail. It should be said that the interpretation of the above-mentioned issues relies on synchronic, sociological, contextual and linguistic analysis methods. The article shows the power of words with the help of several works of art, movies and real life examples.
