Annotation: Among the benzazoles, biologically active substances with various important properties have been found, which are used in agriculture, medicine, and various other fields. In order to synthesize new organic compounds, the reaction of benzothiazoline-2-one and benzothiazoline-2-thione with chloroacetyl chloride was studied, and the synthesis of 3-chloroacetylbenzothiazoline-2-one and -thione was carried out.
