Annotation: In the Bukhara region, there are a total of 1,725.4 km of inter-farm and 16,049 km of inter-farm irrigation networks, the efficiency coefficient of inter-farm irrigation networks in the region is 0.83%, and in the districts it is 0.81-0.86%. The lowest efficiency is observed in the Vabkent district (0.81), the highest in the Alat, Karakul, Kagan, and Bukhara districts (0.85-0.86), while the efficiency in the remaining districts is 0.82-0.83%. Therefore, before planting any crop (especially cotton), it is necessary to study the morphological structure and physical capabilities of the soil.
