Annotation: The article talks about the desert and the process of desertification in the Central Asian region, the main factors that lead to it and the resulting ecological danger. Also, the impact of the desertification process on the geo-ecological environment and the negative consequences it brings to the Central Asian region have been thoroughly analyzed. Special attention is paid to the scientific research conducted in our country in order to achieve the effectiveness of actions against this problem, the consistent reforms and cooperation relations carried out in our country and on a global scale, having studied the Central Asian and international experience in the fight against the existing problem.
