Annotation: The article is devoted to the study of the deictic field of spatial localization and interpretation of action in the Pashto language. Various approaches to the study of the spatial field are considered, including phenomenological, lexical-semantic and deictic. Particular attention is paid to an attempt to construct the deictic field "space of action" based on the material of 16 native non-derivative adverbs of Pashto. The internal and external positions of the speaker in relation to spatial localization are analyzed, and two semantic variants are distinguished: "place of localization of the event" and "orientation in space". Specific examples of the use of adverbs in different contexts are given, demonstrating their functioning in the Pashto language.
