Annotation: This article is about didactic games that are used in learning the German language. Along with classical, demonstrative and practical methods of language teaching, the activating method is widely used. Didactic games are considered an activating method in teaching a foreign language. The article describes the types of didactic games as well as the effectiveness and better assimilation of the educational material covered.
