Annotation: This article is based on the analysis of the skills of the translator Azod Sharafidinov and the pragmatic and semantic features of the art of using words in translation. In the process of analysis, translations into the original, intermediate language Russian and Uzbek languages are compared and the pragmatic and semantic features of the language are studied in the translation. By means of comparative analysis, semantic compatibility, functional aspects of words are explained on the basis of examples, which demonstrate the individual style and unique strategy of translation. In the process of analysis, it is observed that Azod Sharaffidinov chose figurative and expressive expressions rather than neutral units in the translation from Uzbek and created the necessary atmosphere, thereby strengthening the critical and artistic tone of the original.
