Annotation: The article examines the manifestations, features, and meaning of dialogue and discussion in Dostoevsky's works. The article analyzes the identification of various types of dialogues, the transformation of dialogism in which the spiritual and moral views of the characters, ideological orientation are revealed. The dialogue and its role and functions in the novel "Crime and Punishment" are investigated and the features of the inner monologue of the characters and psychological states are determined.
