Annotation: High-voltage batteries are one of the most important components of electric vehicles. The parameters of the accumulator batteries significantly affect the components of the car. A battery consists of one or more electrochemical cells that convert chemical energy into electrical energy (during discharge) and electrical energy into chemical energy (during charge). Several types of batteries are used in electric cars. This article presents a comparative analysis of battery cells used in the design of modern electric cars. The advantages and disadvantages of accumulator batteries used in electric cars, as well as the analysis of prospects for the development of their connection schemes are highlighted.
