Annotation: This article is devoted to the comparative analysis of communicative and speech strategic tasks of emotive units in English and Uzbek languages. During the research, emotive units of both languages were studied from the lexical-semantic, pragmatic and communicative point of view. The results showed that emotional units in English are expressed more directly and openly, which corresponds to openness and individualism in the culture. In the Uzbek language, emotive units are mainly expressed in an indirect, soft form and are based on the values of respect and collectivism in communication.
