ENHANCING ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING FOR ISLAMIC STUDIES STUDENTS: A FOCUS ON CURRICULUM DESIGN

Annotation: This article explores the implementation of English language teaching specifically tailored for Islamic Studies students. The curriculum design is centered around religious materials to create an engaging learning experience. By organizing lessons under Islamic themes, a learner-friendly atmosphere is fostered, promoting practical and enriching lessons for students of all proficiency levels. This approach incorporates references to Qur’anic dictionaries and books on Tafseer for advanced students, aligning teaching and learning with specific targets. Additionally, the article addresses challenges faced by teachers, such as lack of motivation, inadequate resources, and large class sizes, emphasizing the need for creative solutions within the educational system.
