Annotation: This article focuses on the study of intelligence in children with hearing and speech impairments. The article gives a brief overview of the research of scientists working in this field. There is also a brief overview of the methods used by these scientists in their research. Factors that hinder the formation of cognitive processes in children with hearing and speech impairments are described in detail.
