Author: Sobitova, Mahmudaxon
Annotation: This article examines the occasional human failure and recovery in picture books adapted from some of Aesop's fables. From the point of view of adaptation, the author expresses how sociality is deconstructed in these parables. in these parables, the author uses animals to bring to life human characteristics. Thus, while adaptations replicate lessons learned from the original source material, they deliberately eliminate the sociocultural lessons that place black aesthetics at the core of the narratives.
