Annotation: This article is devoted to the study of the main problems in the development of the Fergana regional labor market and ways to eliminate them. At a time when the importance of statistical methods for analyzing and forecasting trends in the labor market is growing, this topic is gaining relevance. Also, the specifics and development trends of the labor market of Uzbekistan are analyzed. In particular, more accurate methods of calculating such important indicators as the number and composition of labor resources, the level of employment and unemployment, the dynamics of wages are proposed. In the results of the study, the main problems in the development of the regional labor market and solutions for their elimination are presented.
