Annotation: This article provides detailed information on the concept of unfair competition, its essence, the forms encountered in the field of intellectual property, the manifestation of unfair competition in the form of illegal use of means of individualization. The article also analyzes the content of the concepts of intellectual property, in particular, trademarks, service marks and names of places of origin of goods. In addition, the emerging forms of unfair competition, its relationship with unfair trade practices are revealed on the basis of the experience of foreign countries and scientific sources published by leading legal scholars.
