Annotation: Gender stereotypes in Europe and Uzbekistan have developed on the basis of different cultural and social values. This article analyzes the differences between gender stereotypes in Europe and Uzbekistan, the cultural and social factors that contribute to their formation, mainly due to the deep-rooted harmful customs in our society, which create obstacles to the protection of women's rights, and the intensification of violence in families.
