Annotation: This article analyzes the issues of the female image and the process of transformation of this image in the work of the outstanding figure of German literature of the XX century, Nobel Prize winner Heinrich Bjoll. G.The central themes of Bell’s works are the war and its role in human destiny, values in post-war society and the life of a woman in this social environment, changes in her behavior. In particular, in the novel “The lost honor of Katerina Blum " using the example of Katerina, the author showed how strongly external factors can influence a change in a person’s worldview and behavior. Based on the analysis of this novel, the article reveals the features of female images in the works of Henry Bioll.
