Annotation: In the era of globalization, the Internet has become an integral part of human life, causing a transformation of economic, social and cultural relations. At the same time, the rapid development of the Internet creates risks such as cybercrime, violation of the confidentiality of personal data, the spread of disinformation and psychological manipulation. This article analyzes the factors that threaten Internet security in the era of globalization, highlights their global consequences and prevention strategies. Based on various scientific sources, reports of international organizations and practical studies, the impact of Internet security problems on society is comprehensively studied. Also, ways to ensure security in connection with the development of information technologies are scientifically and theoretically substantiated.
